Whatever happened to the Kosinski boys? John and ? Can't think of the name of the older brother. Them, along with the "Whistler, and Larry Bradshaw (I saw where he just recently passed away) and also several others used to walk past our house on 3rd street across from the Pottery. Everyone was so friendly and always spoke. Also, Bob Anderson and his brothers. Whatever happened to Bill Anderson? He seems to be somewhat of a mystery. And remember the John's that lived up behind Snyder's? We had a great mix of people in Falls Creek!

I believe the older Kosinski brother, I forgot his name too, moved to Toledo when O-I bought Brockway Glass. Not sure about John, might live in Reynoldsville.
Who the heck was "the Whistler"?
Not sure about the Anderson boys, they seem to be scattered around the country.
The Johns's are still there, at least some of them. Lila Mae moved into the house on Deemer with Orvie, they're still there, maybe another sister too.

The older Kosinski was Joe. The whistler was Theram Reeves. Squeak Anderson I heard is back in Reynoldsville.

You mean you don't remember 'The Whistler?' My my, where have you been? I thought everyone knew who he was? He'd walk past our house whistling the whole way up the street. A real character. Ask around. I'm sure there's a lot of people who remember him. I know Brucie remembers him. Think we talked about him when we were altogether last, along with some of the other people who used to live there in Falls Creek.

Reemsy....I remember him. He just moved out a few years ago. He moved up to one of the high rises in DuBois, I believe. Never knew him as the "Whistler."
He was a victim of urban decay, couldn't afford to keep his house livable.

Love the old photo! Let's get more like them! That's what I was hoping for, to flush out some of those old photos. There has to be a bunch of old pictures of the old town sitting in shoeboxes, somewhere. It would be nice to get the word out and maybe people would be kind enough to share them. It would be nice to get those pictures scanned so they could be posted here for people to enjoy.....

It would be great to get enough pictures to need your help, pensrock.... ;D Right now there isn't much danger of my scanner overheating. Hopefully that will change in the future..... ;D

Anyone remember Wally Wingrove? He used to be married to a friend of mine but they got divorced and I heard he remarried. Wonder where he's at now a days? Didn't his brother that used to walk from Falls Creek to Du Bois for groceries and back again get killed? And does anyone know how to get ahold of Carol Verona? She used to live up over the old Wiser's store with her mom and sister and brother, Paul Sycalik? Is he still living in Reynoldsville? I used to go up to her house all the time. Carol and I were good friends.
