Dougherty, Daugherty, McDonalds relatives

Hello Falls Creek, I am going to visit in mid November.   I am really excited to look at the history of Falls Creek.  My great grandfather was John Clair Dougherty and was a dentist in Falls Creek about 1902.   His mother was a Margaret McDonald and father was William Daugherty (Dougherty).  
What is the best way for me to locate his old dentist office and other bits of historical information?  Would like to do a walk a bout in the town.     Thanks so much

Hi, I see no one has answered your questions yet, so I will try and help. This site is not as busy as it used to be and not as many people get on here lately. You may want to check out the Facebook site, You Know You are from Falls Creek if... It is ran by Pam McDonald Silvis and she really knows her Falls Creek history and if nothing else she will try to help you. I am from Falls Creek too, but do not know where the dentist office may have been in 1902. Hopefully, she can be of more help to you. Enjoy your visit!

I have a historian from Dubois trying to help me so it is wonderful to meet so many helpful people. May not get all the pieces to the puzzle of my husbands ancestry but it may take several trips. I am so glad you are getting some help with your search and I hope when you find out you can share and let us know just where that dentist office was! I no longer live in Falls Creek, but it was a very nice place to grow up. Simpler times.
