I am new and signed on because I thought this was a historical society of the Jackson Pottery. From the few posts I have read this seems to be a reunion of ALL things "Jackson". I live in Reno, Nevada and I inherited a few dinner plates, some dinner platters from a friend who worked at Tarantino's on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. They had used this set since the end of WWII. I use it and enjoy it all the time. I just wish I had a few more pieces. I have 5 platters and about 7 dinner plates. I used to have more but they disappeared through several moves. We have great memories attached to these pieces. They are a soft gray color with a burgundy ring and a very light white lace or fluer d' lis pattern. Does anyone know the name of this collection? I am on a limited budget, but would like to find a few more plates and platters if I can. Thanks for your friendliness and helpfulness. It was great reading the history of the Pottery.

Sorry I can't help but if you search Ebay you may find the name of the pattern. The pottery has been shut down for many years now. My father worked there for probably 35 years. I think there are even some books for Jackson China that may help you.

Hey Reina53. I do have a CD on Jackson China with all china they have made over the years. If you can post a pic of what you are looking for, I should be able to identify it and that way at least you know what pattern you are looking for. But with the limited budget you have it may not help you, because this Jackson China is not cheap. Check ebay Jackson China. I do have a friend that has a big collection of Jackson China, but you may have a hard time, talking him in to giving it up. Good luck in your hunt. If I can help in any way I will do my best.
