Which do you prefer? I'm always slow to adapt, besides being cheap... ......so I was stuck on desktops for many years. But now that laptops have gotten more reasonable in price, so I was willing to spring for one....I'm hooked. I still have a desktop, mainly with a big hard drive and speakers for music, but most of my computer time is spent on my laptop. I have it set up so I can play music on my desktop, from my laptop....

Laptops are so much convienent and you can take them anywhere. If you get an air card for them, you can literally go on line anywhere. I do like the feel of a desktop mouse though.

I bought my daughter a laptop for graduation, but I use it more than she does...she likes the desktop better for some reason. I got her a wireless mouse for the laptop because I can't stand the laptop navigator thingie.
