Great movie! True story, although I'm sure it has it's share of Hollywood embellishments, about the Bielski brothers, who saved the lives of over 1200 Jews in WWII Belarus. It's the type of movie, for me anyway, that makes you feel truly blessed, and somewhat insignificant in the big scheme of things. I definitely give the film a thumbs up...

As the only Jewish descendant of the locals, I appreciate what you had shortly to say. There were no Hollywood embellishments, I assure you. I live here in Israel and know several elders, some with concentration camp tats on their arms. My father was one of the first GI's to liberate Buchenwald on April 11, 1945. The true blessing for us Jews is that there are good people like you who know the truth and aren't afraid to speak up for what is right and what is the truth. Kol ha kavod!!!!
