Brucie, you still have that Raiders hat ! ???I thought you had to throw it away after using it to wash your car and mop your floors for so long ;D. That is the only thing it was good for except for maybe toilet paper in the outhouse !!  |

Hey tarheel, I saw you got lucky and pulled out a squeaker on week one. Just a fluke I believe . Try to get that team playing better by week seven. I would like to have my team at least break a sweat when we trounce your terror's into submission. Do I hear a whimper of fear coming from the south ?? You will think you got tar and tobaccoed and got left for dead in a cotton field. I will burn your truck, throw eggs at your house and put a virus in your computer mouse. I will send a Pit Bull to your work place that is so mean, he makes Cujo seem like Lassie! I remember those hot dogs at the softball tourneys. They were the best for sure.

Yea I hear ya Enjoy your flappen of the lips now because a storm is a brewen and its heading your way  and to give you a little history lesson it was Grant that took Richmond just like the howlers will take that little dancing raspberry or whatever the he-- it is ;D In the end the deck is stacked against you . the south will not rise again . You nouveau Rebels are quick to latch on to those infantile names....like "Tarheels".... "Cavaliers"..."Hokies"... "Commodores"...and the likes. And you like to flap your gums about Southern College football being superior. But after we give you your 10 minutes of glory, your light will fade like a candle in a hurricane. And like my little grey haired buddy said, it was Grant who took Richmond. But now that you mention it, this fantasy league is destined to resemble the Civil War. Sure you will win a few early battles, but in the end Yankee superiority will win out. In our next battle I'll burn your Tarheels like Sherman burned Atlanta. One thing about us Yankees.....we don't have to bemoan what might have been, or wait to rise again. We are standing tall and while you rebels wait for something that ain't never dunna ("Chicken" reference.. ;D) happen...we'll just send your sorry behinds home with nothing left but bitter memories.... I am enjoying all the smack talk and was wondering something? Whatever happened to Larry Switer(sp?), played for DuBois, punted for PITT, then kicked for Denver..... does anyone know? I remember playing touch football with some of the Sentries, him and Pat Shelala(again sp?). I know Pat went on to med. school. Pat used to do playground duty and Larry always came down to see him. I remember running with the ball, tripping, and taking forever to fall down, it was like slow motion. Fun stuff though.

Larry Swider bounced around the NFL for a few years, playing for Detroit, St. Louis and Tampa Bay. Denver drafted him but I don't think he ever played for them. Last I knew he was a contractor, I think in Colorado.
Pat Shilala is an emergency room doctor at DRMC.

Hmmmm? Not a lot of noise from the Tarbox this week, must be afraid the Greytone is going to drive him so far south it'll be springtime. Looks like it will be Greytone Lunch and Hacks Corner at the top of the heap after this week.... I heard the team from Dixie has a new theme song........ The other question of the week is if the Howlers can win in a week where byes have hit them hard. I just don't think he can recover from the Monday night thrubbing he took from my boys last week. The Goodolegirls made a lot of waiver wire moves this week, they cleared out some deadwood, but will those moves help them? |

What, no predictions? No bragging? Am I the only one who knows his team is going to pull off yet another dominating win?.... I heard from a reliable source that the Tarbabies owner was so afraid of being embarrassed this week that he abandoned his team in favor of a romantic getaway in some Carolina mountain love nest... That's what I call throwing in the towel.... ;D ;D And the Howlers owner hasn't said a word since he prematurely thumped his chest last week, doubting the Swami's prediction that Rodgers and Driver would garner me 30 points on Monday night... ;D ;D |
