Okay, the league is set up. I sent an e-mail invite to those who said they want in, and other members who I thought might be interested.
If you are interested but didn't get an invite, just post here and let me know.
Space is limited to 10 teams, so don't waste time. Hopefully we can fill it and get the draft done so we are ready to go by week 1.

I sent a lot of invites, but so far we only have 5 teams. We should get at least 8 for a decent league. I have it set at 10, but can adjust to 8. With 8 teams it will make a good league where half the teams make the play-offs.
So if you know anyone that might be interested, feel free to invite them. Richard, how about your brother? I sent him an invite, is he a football fan?
It would be nice to fill up by the weekend so we can get the draft done for week one. If not we may have to hold off and start week two.

Just as I figured, everyone is afraid of the Tarheel Terror team. Can't have a reunion, can't have a fantasy football league. Cmon Pensrock and the rest of you sissies, sign on and watch the old timers make mince meat out of you little bugs!!!!! TT form NC...Game on and let the smack talk begin.

We're up to 6. Come on in, join the fun. It'll be a good league for first timers, no pressure of a live draft, Yahoo will do the draft. Just set your line-up once a week....simple. Brucie must be better than me at this football thing. I've been doing fantasy sports for a lot of years, I've won leagues in baseball, golf, & NASCAR. But a first place trophy has eluded me in football...  So don't fear all of us old timers, some of us are doormat material, just in it for fun. Of course put me in first place for a week and I'll be a smack talkin' fool.... ;D ;D |

All right TT from NC you better not get to cocky yet , the league hasn't even started yet. And as much as I have in common with the Tar heel state ( Uncle Ed would root for you ,but that's about it ) When my howler's get a few brewski's in them they will tar and feather your Tar heel Terrors. Let's fill up the league Creekers. All you guys from the Super Bowl state and only 7 people signed up? Surely you jest!! There should be a waiting line to get in. A draft to get in. A lottery to get in!! An elite opportunity for the armchair quarterbacks of the Crystal City and we get 7 guys? We should have 700 guys just beating each other sensless to get a "coveted spot" in this fine league. OK you yankees. If only 6 of ya have the guts to get in the league, there will be 6 yanks that will be "wooped" by the Tarheel Terror. As for Grady, you need to drink that cup of coffee instead of holding it and get your eyes open dude, cause you are going to get a good old southern butt whipping straignt from the Bible Belt.. If you believe me say AMEN!!

Well, I lowered the teams to eight, but I'm waiting on #8. Seems doubtful if we'll be playing now until week #2, with the Thursday start. Sorry, should've started sooner I guess... |
