Okay, for those of you with cloudy memories, or those who weren't old enough to recall, Lesser Arcanas was a rock band made up of local talent...Jack Hasselback, Gary Graham, John "Cuddles" Wallwork and Wayne Fordoski. I'd say they were active sometime between '70-'72. Not sure where all they played but they did play at the Falls Creek Fire Hall when the Youth Club...oh yeah we had a Youth Club(thanks to Katie Weis)... had dances there.
And as far as the Drum Major, he reminded me of a guy named Francis Dixon. I'll test your memories and see if anybody remembers him.

I remember the band! I loved the dances at the Y!
Anybody remember the "Cave" up in Weedville? (I think)

Oh yes , many a trip taken to weedville and the cave. Black lights, Gigantic spider movie playing on the wall. I remember going in there one night with a white shirt and white pants on . I looked like Casper the friendly ghost moving around the place. Also there was the Foggy Bottom and the Pink Panther in Reynoldsville. If my memory serves me right they were the same place ,different time periods. You have to remember that back in those days the Foggy Bottom wasn't the only thing foggy , so was my head.

Geez, I vaguely remember that Casper incident!
Wow all these names/places are coming back to me.....especially the conversations about the old swimming holes. I remember hiking thru those tunnels under I-80 to get to the one. It had a rope swing, I think.

The drum major was actually John Phillips of the Mama's and Papas, or it could have been David Crosby of the Byrds era. There used to be a lot of clubs to go dancing to that had some good bands. Any one remember B.E. Taylor, Joker, L.A.W. Freeport express, left side down, coconut? Lots of good shows/memories to go around. Now everything comes out of a DJs box and is forgotten in a few hours. How could one forget the Living dead band at the Hitching post where the lead singer came up out of a casket and broke into some good tunes or when Grayson was boogying with the lead singer of LAW at the foggy bottom in his captain america shirt. Head banging at his finest

I can't figure out how I missed the "Casper" incident. Or...maybe I was there and just got lost in the fog.... ;D One way or the other, I don't remember it....wish I did. Some of the older members will remember, but before the Pink Panther, and Foggy Bottom.....I believe the same place was the Blue Angel. And maybe some younger members will recall....I believe it then became Sylvester's. The dance hall of many names.
