A little history tidbit I learned from Charlie Moore. This unassuming little barn on main St. going out of town was once located at the old stone quarry. Back in the 30's it was moved into town in one piece by horse and wagon . Now that had to be a real feat to do that.

We're talking right smack in the middle of the Great Depression. People back then saw value in everything, they had to. Pretty well built building too, still standing straight and strong after over 100 years.

It was in pretty bad shape for a long time till someone corrected it's swayback look, though I must admit I enjoy seeing it when I am driving through town going out to my mother's house.
