Not much left of the bridge....too bad. When the bridge was there that path was bare, packed down like pavement. Boy if I had a dollar for every time I waled on that path....

My last memories of the footbridget were two railroad rails going across. There was a rock support in the middle which I see is down now along with one rail. We would tight rope across a rail when we were teeners. We would go over and got to the red brick building, then to the bubbling springs and light the gas leak coming up from the spring. It would only last momentarily then go out and we would throw another match on etc. Didn't take much to entertain us much in those days. There may have been a board or two across the rails, but if there were, it was almost cerainly rotted out. There was a little fishing hole just down streem around the corner from the footbridge I can remember cooking a sunfish like Wildcat2 said, only we used a homade spit......

What a shame! That was a neat little bridge in its day!
