I can remember putting some wood down across the steel beams inside this bridge to make an area to sit around .used to go inside that bridge alot, then one day I could not squeeze between the steel bridge and the concret footings, I dont know what happened. I think the bridge moved on the footings and made the gap smaller !

Yea we believe that Grady...... If you would have looked in the water under the bridge you may have found your missing brew that you had hid for the dances at the firehall.

Now that was a great observation. Pabst blue ribbon or whatever else the little theif would grab from the GS. Shame shame shame. You drank so much beer you couldn't fit in the cracks any more. I remember Glenn Benniger and Punk Smith would hang out and smoke cigarettes at the paddy car. They always would come there when we were fishing and boot us out of there.

Ahh Mr. Brucie, before you start throwing rocks in glass houses. I remember that alot of the liquids of the alcoholic nature that went down my gullet were pilfered from liquor bottles and kegs that were the property of your mom and pop !!! Shame, shame, shame

I'm just glad that I was never involved in any of that type of behavior. I can't imagine that type of shenanigans taking place in this fine town.....My goodness.... ;D ;D

Those things were just the tip of the iceberg. It's a good thing that the old places can't talk. Most of us would have been locked up for the things we got away with.

Now isn't that the truth? However I take my hat off to my folks who were always kind enough to have a keg in the house. It just made things soooo much more convienent. As for the administrator's input, "May your nose protrude one foot further for your lies pinocchio". The three musketeers were always in it together. And I wouldn't change a thing if I could go back.

Also cant forget the clear running water's from Wolf creek !!!!! Maybe the toxins in that "clear running" water are what put me in the shape I'm in today..... You know as a kid, before we mixed it with booze, I used to drink that water all the time when I was playing, or fishing, down along that creek....

Crossing the bridge on the outside was easy, falling off was the hard part, ask my brother Pat about his broken arm!!! Don't tell my mom though, she still thinks he fell out of the tree in the backyard!

Don't tell my mom though, she still thinks he fell out of the tree in the backyard! Ha! ;D ;D That's funny Jim. I never knew anybody that fell off, it's a wonder more of us didn't. Pat used the tree as an excuse for falling off the Paddy Car and I told my parents I feel off the Paddy Car when I fell through the floor of a house I shouldn't have been in and dislocated my shoulder... ;D

It was a fun place to hang out, that's for sure. I can remember a BIGGGG Snake that used to hang out under the Tannery side with a buch of horny chubs. The d--n thing chased me out of there fast!! It had to be about three feet long and four-five inches think. I just wionder if I can still fit throgh the butments in the middle.
