The Clearfield fair has the Beach Boys, ZZ Top, and Brett Michaels. In the 70s that wouldn't be a fair, it would be a full blown all day festival. Bravo to the fair officials for getting some good acts. It is funny, those same acts used to headline at the Madison Square Garden, and now they are relegated to county fairs. Its a nice way for the groups to spend their retirement years I guess. Are ya listenin' Lessor Arcana? Sadly there is only one original member of that band left that is still alive. Don't dispair young folks, your bands will be playing the fair in 30 years from now. Well, maybe, I don't know if there are any folk heros in the music industry that lasts as long as the above acts. Too much competition and short lifespan of groups anymore. As for Robin and I, we will be attending a four tops gig at the watermelon festival here August 26th with my boys, sister, niece and brother in law. The next day we are headed to Ocracoke island for some sunshine, fine wine, and beach time. Gotta love North Carolina
