Well, it almost seems like the FC website is like the town itself. It gets a little old, loses its lustre and eventually just fades away. Thanks for starting it Scotty, my hat is off to you and the rest of the members who contributed. Wish there was more to say for everybody, but it seems like everybody is at the BB King concert. The Thrill is gone

I am with you Bruce, seems as though no one has anything to say lately. Maybe Stephanie from Willar's could start posting her sales so people would get on and look, or LuAnn the tax collector could post back taxes...... I like hearing the old stories, and history of the town. Scott started something amazing and for those of us who get a little homesick, it has been nice to stroll down memory lane. Thanks Scott!

I will continue to check the posts, is hard when one doesn't live there anymore to stay up with the current events. Thanks for trying to keep us up to date Scott. It's always good to know where the fish are biting and where to go bag a buck. :-) remember the good times.

W e l l Bruce I see it a little bit different. The town might be old, but this little town is still hop-pen a bit. Spring has sprung about 3 week early this year, people are out and about walking the streets, kids are at the play ground, playing and being kids as kids will be, gardens being planted, been mow-en grass since April 3, to early for grass mow-en in this part of the country. (O) our one horse town will be getting a 3 lanes of highway coming in to Falls Creek from 219, replacing 2 bridges and a red light will be added at the Larkey Town road. Three lanes will end at Pete's old gas station witch is no longer there. The problem may be for the few of us that are trying to relive the past as we do in this wonder site. So you see it may be us old timers that are losing a little bit of our luster and fading away on this site. So whats the answer to make this site flourish.

Well polecat, I just wanted to shake the dust off the keys a bit, not trying to cause any ill feelings, just trying to goad someone into posting something. Glad to see a light is coming to the larkytown area and 3 new lanes. Any activity @ the ballfield that used to be the pearl of the town? Do they still have girls softball, midget football, and federation league? Just wondering. I know the wildcats aren't still around, but is there any midget football at all or aren't we allowed to call it midget football any more? Getting fairly hot here in the south, but the sun is shining and the pool is about the right temp. Festivals and the such are in full swing, and the beachs are starting to fill up. Hope the crystal city continues to flourish....nice to hear from you....

No offense taken. Busy Busy Busy is what I am, first time I been on the site in a couple of months with all the snow days we had this winter, 2 inches here, 4 inches there every other day, then throw in a couple of 12 inch days with all the cold and wind you kind of get a little tired removing snow, but there are some of us that live in the Falls Creek area, that don't shovel or move there truck and get to sleep all winter, you can guest who that may be, because I wouldn't like to put Grady's name on this site. spring has been busy also with early grass mowing. the last kid graduating from high school and getting ready for collage, and all the other things that goes with life. But the site needs liven up a bit. The last graduation for me . So

Well Mr. Jerry , I'll start out nice . Nice picture of your daughter graduating. That's the one thing that makes me feel my age, when my friend's from high school have kid's that graduate from high school. Now on to these derogatory remarks made about me in the previous post . Yes I do hibernate during the winter but I do wake up once in awhile and shovel the sidewalk as seen in previous winter photo's I have posted on this site. Also I shovel by hand not with a snowblower like you . If in fact you snow blow it at all. I lean more to wards your wife doing it. She is the one I see mowing the grass all summer. Can't say as I can ever remember you behind that mower ? ;D ;D

AW Grady are you jealous because you don't have a women to mow your grass ;D Just kidding I do push that mower maybe 10 times a year but not more then that, my wife does like mowing grass. But you don't see me mowing my other yard, 3 acres of grass and 30 trees to mow around, plus 2 grape vines and blue berry bushes all on a riding mower takes about 3 hours, may not be pushing the mower, but I am mowing. AS for snow removal, I traded my shovel in a long time ago, use a tracker with a 5 foot snow blower on it. Check the stats, more people have heart attacks from shoveling snow then any other activity, so be wise my freind and trade that shovel in.

Never say die! We are still signing up new members. People are busy, weather is nice....things to do. I know I'm not here every day anymore. But eventually some of us will have something to say.... I'm glad that people enjoy the site, even those who are too bashful to post. I'll keep it going, even in quiet times. Thanks to all who do post, even if it's only once in a while.

Getting anyone to say anything on this site is like trying to get a fish to bite at Kyle Lake, the former B&O Dam. How is the fishing out there? Has it been drained lately? I remember as a kid going out there after they drained it and getting all kinds of lures, even found a ring! Also, does anyone ever fish at the Little Dam any more?

hey jer, congrats on the daughter's graduation. She is beautiful looks just like your wife, lucky for he. tee hee I don't envy paying for college, but it is the best money we ever spent. The satisfaction of your kids having a good education is well worth the $$$ spent. Where is she going to school? Hope you have a good summer in FC, Linda
