One of my greatest memories were the Falls Creek Wildcats. I joined the second year as a cheerleader and cheered till the seventh grade. This was during the early years.

I'm too old....couldn't play when they started. But remember watching them play. My oldest daughter was a cheerleader.
They became an awesome team, won the "Cereal Bowl" several times if I recall.

anaidkcep, I must know you then, I played the first three years. The first year we only had used equipment and red sweatshirts. The next year we got real uniforms and went undefeated! Actually the Wild cats went undefeated more than one year and won the Cereal Bowl several times.

I played when I was 9 yrs old. Some kids quit, some got hurt, and since I was rather big for my age, they moved me up to play with the big kids. I didn't have a clue what was going on. I think Bob Marapode was the QB, and he had to tell me what to do on every play. We never won a game that year, and I think the franchise folded after that. Not one of my better sporting memories.

I remember the wildcats. Donnie Nolder threw me a long pass against Reynoldsville at Mansell stadium and I scored the first touchdown of the Falls Creek Wildcats. We got our butts kicked of course, but that was one of the greatest memories of my life.

We see Donnie Nolder all of the time. He is still the same. I framed the first three years of Wildcat team photos for him. He is going to bring down the archives for me to get copies. His mother kept everything!

fallscreek wildcats won the cerealbowl 3 years in a row. I think it was 1971, 1972 and 1973, two Brockway teams came into the league in 1972, the screamming eagles and the the the the can't remember the other team. Who provided the oranges at halftime for us when we went to that little red building at halftime? Anybody remember Dave Sponible from brockway I think before they had a team? One game he tackled three guys in the backfield at the sametime, just put both arms out and they all went down. We had to weigh kids before the games back then to,, use to make them run laps against Donnie Bishop to catch him nobody could, lol! Great times

I remember that Cindy Adams Knouse was the first Cereal Bowl Queen. She was also a member of the Sentries and we were all at that game to cheer her on. She was just the cutest thing!
