Bad spelling or not, this is a great site and wonderful for all of us Falls Creekers to stay in touch. Wonderful thing this computer age. I am just glad people take the time to join and share their memories and historical facts about things I truly don't remember or never knew about. I know more about my home town now than when I lived in it! Grady you keep on posting, my spelling is just as bad, but my math is worse. Just a DuBois grad I guess!

I can assure that no deductions will be made for improper spelling... And.....there will be no extra credit for proper spelling.... ;D So just keep on posting, all of you, no matter how well you spell...

FYI, even though I havn't a dog in the fight, according to Pennsylvania High School rankings, Dubois is Ranked 340 out of 666, Brockway is Ranked 423. My kids went to Reynolds who is ranked 478. Can't spell but they sure can wrestle. This is of course this years data. Being a Beaver alumni I wasn't the best speller myself, but always managed to wade through life anyway. You think Grady can't spell? You should watch how bad he manages a fantasy football team. Now that is scary and far more important. At his age, a warm smile and a kind word is much more important than winning a spelling bee, and he's got both. I think 4doski is spelled Fordoski and I think some one is bustin grady's chops, and I think those are hard chops to bust. But as I said, I haven't a dog in the fight. I live in North Carolina now and I don't think some of these schools could even make the list!!

Ken Heitzenrater - We lived out in what they called Crawford town - although I could never figure that one out as most of the land had belonged to the Perrin clan. I went to Beechwoods to elementary school riding the bus with all the Smithtown kids then to Brockway for high school. Our family attended the Methodist Church in Falls Creek and I worked at Jackson China for three years. Living over in Snyder Township these days.

Some of the names I can remember from when we lived there are, the Bartasavichs, the Gundrums (which we lived right down from). I believe Mike Delio(sp) was a friend of my brothers. I also lived by the Langleys, carl & donnie.

Some of the names I remember, some I don't. I guess that sort of thing is expected as I get older. My name is Paul Snyder. I lived in Falls Creek from '62 - '76. Played for the Wildcats with wildcat2's brother Donnie, my younger sister was a Wildcat cheerleader & my older sister played for the Sentries softball team. Ah, memories...

Hey Y'all...Eddie Nolder here. Son of James E. Nolder...(Collins and Nolder) Found this blog by accident, and I'm so thrilled to re-live some of the old memories of Falls Creek, and the wonderful people who lived there. I've been gone a very long time (43 years) and now live in Houston Texas, but as I have always said...my heart lives in Falls Creek.
