When we were kids we would go in and look around, many years ago.

Did it really end up in Felix's basement? I was too chicken to venture more than a short distance inside....

I wasn't sure whose fruit celler it ended up at, but George Garthwaite and I ventured in the cave of death when we were just pups and went all the way back. It was a tight squeeze, we were just little fellas then.........

What happen to George Garthwaite? Last I heard, quite a few years back, he was in Texas, I believe. So it probably wasn't a griz, maybe a wild boar, or a band of Mexican Banditos..... ;D

My friend George used to peddle lobsters and watermelons from Maine to Texas. He would run up to Maine with a load of texas watermelons, pick up a load of lobsters and hawk them to some seafood place in texas. That is the last I heard from him. As little as he was, he was probably overpowered by a disgruntled lobster..........never to be heard from again. The dude was always a player, it's hard to tell where my friend is now. Miss him though.......

I remember George calling the house when he was just a little fellow, about 7 or so, asking to talk to my brother, 'Bootsie.' He couldn't pronounce Brucie so he called him Bootsie? He was a feisty little bugger! I think he got the first mohawk haircut in Falls creek. Back in those days people were horrified when they saw it!

;D ;D..... I remember George's Mohawk. He may not only have been the first, but probably the only one, to sport a Mohawk haircut on the streets of Falls Creek in those days.
