As a kid, I always thought Bill was a part of my family. We saw him daily ... every day after he finished working at the Gunny, he stopped at our house, which was usually about dinner time. He was always welcomed in and never sent away without something to eat (usually dessert) or an old record or some other thing he found value in. Bill was Falls Creek ... and Falls Creek was Bill. He is still remembered by our relatives from out of town, he always made sure to stop and introduce himself when they visited. They used to ask on a regular basis how Bill was doing and were saddened at his passing. My oldest son Nick was only a toddler when we moved out of town, but fondly remembers "Bull" (that's what he called him when he was old enough to talk) because he always had some gum or candy for Nick. One thing I remember about Bill was that he always received write in votes every election for Council or Mayor. If you added up all the years he received votes, he'd win by a landslide! A wise man once said every society is judged by how it treats its least fortunate amongst them. If this is true, the community of Falls Creek can be proud of how it "cared" for Bill over the years. Like Lisa said above, Bill went through life without a worry in the world. When Bill Weis passed, an irreplaceable part of Falls Creek died with him. Rest in Peace Bill

Bill was a great guy. A Falls Creek fixture. We should have made him the honorary mayor. He will forever be im my memory. Bucket
